I have been hearing about this store from family, and this was my first trip. It was well stocked, without prices and selection. If I lived there is be a MB shopper.
Good prices and selection but always very crowded. Food court has cheap lunch options but they are slow at filling orders. And they won't let you checkout and pay (always has a line) while waiting for your food which slows things down even more.
Their prices are great but unfortunately I will be buying meat/fish elsewhere. I have purchased fish that had worms and smelled rotten and the ground turkey goes bad after a day in the fridge (this has happened numerous times) and was not a Managers Special. I would give more stars if they did a better job bringing in fresh options.
Keene has a few pricey food stores but Market Basket in Swanzey just a couple of miles down the road has them all beat. Brightly lit, very friendly and helpful employees and tons of fairly priced fresh produce plus a wide selection of everything you expect in a grocery store. The price is right!
Swansey, NH location - clean, modern format, wider aisles than older Market Baskets. Excellent selection of a wide variety of normal supermarket goods. Good pricing!
